The story behind solutionsPro websites
Our Managing Director Tim Teasel grew up in Norfolk, spending many happy years helping out at his family’s flower shop Elizabeth’s the Florist in Norwich. After finishing school, Tim followed his passion for IT technology and completed his degree in Computer Science at Oxford Brookes University. He went on to have a successful career in IT Project Management based in London and moved down to the South Coast when he married.
Tim was still closely linked to the family business, and experienced first-hand the issues they had trying to get a reliable e-commerce website that didn’t cost the earth! With the skill and knowledge to be able to build bespoke websites and the supporting system, Tim saw a great opportunity to help his family business and other small businesses sell online.
And so SolutionsPro websites was born! Tim built from scratch the website software, and after rigorous testing the first website launched in February 2007. Since then, word has spread about our website service and SolutionsPro, along with our sister company floristPro who specialise in floristry websites, have grown to become one of the UK's leading website providers.
We have expanded over the years and now have a dedicated team of 10 (plus the office dog, Bailey) based at our HQ in West Sussex. A bunch of IT specialists, graphic designers and marketing experts, all our skills combined together make the perfect combination for websites! We work with over 700 local businesses across the UK and Worldwide including Ireland, Singapore, New Zealand and America. We are dedicated to helping small businesses have the confidence and tools to run their business online - it is always an honour when they choose us to be part of their retail journey.
